From the Editor

Vox Arabica was founded in the conviction that the Arabic language — one of the great classical tongues of civilization — deserves a living, rigorous, and faithful body of Christian theological literature. For too long, the Arabic-speaking Christian has had to look to translations of translations, abridgements, and summaries. No longer.

This journal is the scholarly companion to the Christian Center for Translation and Research. It publishes original research on translation methodology, reception history, textual criticism, and theological discourse — always with the conviction that rigour and faith are not in conflict, but are deepened by one another.
